Main Responsibilities:
- Lead IT technical support efforts for company employees, addressing advanced hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
- Resolve maintenance work issues and manage tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade office equipment, including computers, printers, and other peripherals, to keep systems running smoothly.
- Create, manage, and monitor system access permissions (using Ticket system), including granting and revoking access as necessary, to maintain system security and compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to computers, software, network connections, and other IT systems, implementing effective solutions.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure its stability, security, and optimal performance, identifying and mitigating potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with IT service providers in Sweden to resolve technical challenges, ensure alignment with organizational IT standards and practices, and enhance overall service quality.
- Document and report on IT support performance metrics, contributing to process improvements and informed decision-making.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3 + years of experience in a technical support role, with at least 1-2 years in a mentoring position, ideally in the logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft products, understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with various IT hardware and software. Proficiency with support tools such as Jira, Confluence, and API tools like Postman and SoapUI.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and good Latvian language skills (Swedish language knowledge will be considered an advantage).
- A higher education degree in IT or a related field.
